Takes his position as a leader very seriously to try and make up for his previous mistakes, and expects the same commitment from those under his command.
Rather optimistic (hence the name 'Optimus') and believes all problems have a solution if you look hard enough
Good at coming up with strategies and plans in high pressure situations and utilizing the skills of his team mates.
Always trying to figure out exactly what makes a hero (it's you, Optimus)
Can give impromptu inspirational speeches at the drop of a hat
Tries to do things by the book and follow the rules but also knows when to disregard orders in order to do the right thing.
Will follow his friends into trouble if it means ensuring ~~nobody dies~~ that everyone gets out ok
Tends to lose patience with his team when they insist on doing something ill-advised or keep secrets from him
Gets frustrated when people don't listen to him or disobey orders.
Kind of a history buff
Has a paralyzing fear of spiders and spider-like creatures
